Within, 2023 (EP); Composed, Performed, Produced
The soundtrack for Within, was composed by me in Spring of 2023 and ultimately released to streaming on September 21, 2023. Within is a film about a woman who has a revelatory experience while escaping an abusive relationship. Composed with various synthesizers and centered around light piano motifs, the score is short but dense with ideas as is the film. Beginning with a birth of freedom and ending with a declaration of destructive change, the score guides the viewer through the darkening tone of the film.
